Tim Pohlman (Class of '76) Tim Pohlman is Chief Executive Officer of Riviera Broadcast Group, LLC. Riviera Broadcast Group owns and operates radio stations in Phoenix, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada. RBG currently owns Alternative Rock KEDJ-FM and Contemporary Hits Radio KKFR-FM in Phoenix, as well as Smooth Jazz KOAS-FM and Alternative Rock KVGS-FM in Las Vegas. With over twenty-five years of experience in the radio industry, Tim has held positions at Cox Communications in Dayton, Ohio; Shamrock Broadcasting in Atlanta, Ga.; Voyager Communications in Charlotte, N.C.; Group W Broadcasting in Washington, DC; and Infinity/CBS/Viacom, Los Angeles, CA. Prior to launching Riviera in January 2005, Tim served as Market Manager for Infinity Broadcasting’s seven station radio cluster in Los Angeles, California, overseeing $300 million in top line revenues and $175 million in EBITDA. Tim has served as a member of the board of the Southern California March of Dimes; President of the American Lung Association of Ventura County; and a member of the board of directors and Vice President of the Southern California’s Broadcasters Association. He has a degree in Communications from the University of Dayton, in Dayton Ohio. While at Dayton, Tim played four years of Division I college basketball for the Dayton Flyers. Tim finished his senior year as the Flyers’ team captain. Tim has celebrated twenty years of marriage with his wife Susan. They currently reside in Thousand Oaks, California with their two children, Katie and Matthew.
